       CodeFury is IEEE UVCE Computer Society's Annual National Level Hackathon. Our vision is to conduct Hackathons every year to help solve some of the major problems faced by society and the industry, thus ensuring a massive impact on the world.

      Participants can sit in the comfort of their home and develop solutions to real-world problems by developing either a Web Application or an Android Application within 24 hours. This year we are introducing a UI/UX track to encourage beginners to participate in the events. Brace yourselves for one of the best events you've experienced so far. Mark your calendars on 13th and 14th of August 2022 as we will be conducting CodeFury 5.0 on these days. Get a chance to compete against peers across the country and receive cash prizes too!

      Computer Society is one of the most prominent societies that comes under IEEE UVCE. It acts as a great platform for students of all branches to learn more and contribute to the computing world. Computer Society has been conducting many events since its inception which includes the Annual National level hackathon CodeFury, the monthly coding competition NCode and several workshops to kindle students' interest to update their knowledge on new upcoming technological advances and improve their programming skills as well.

    What is CodeFury?

    It is an Annual National-Level hackathon conducted by IEEE UVCE Computer Society.

    What is the team size?

    A team can have a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 4 participants.

    When is CodeFury 5.0?

    CodeFury 5.0 will be conducted on 13th and 14th of August 2022.

    What is the duration of CodeFury 5.0?

    It will be a 24-hour long hackathon.

    Are the participants required to use a particular tech stack?

    No, participants may use any tech stack of their choice to develop a web or a mobile application.

    Should I be an experienced programmer to participate?

    No, basic programming knowledge is sufficient.

    What are the prizes?

    The grand prize is ₹10,000 for the winning team and ₹5,000 for the runners-up for App development and web development track. The grand prize for UI/UX track is ₹1,000 for winning team and ₹500 for the runners-up.

    What kind of problem statement can be expected?

    It can be anything. Here are the problem statements from last year- 1) An application for women safety 2) An application to assist the agriculture sector 3) An application to provide jobs for unorganized sector post covid. 4) An application which provides a virtual learning environment where like minded individuals can present their resources,activities and interact within a course structure.
